M\ufeffegan Thee Stallion<\/a> has abruptly ended her role in the Broadway musical Moulin Rouge! days after she cried on-stage following her split from her ex-boyfriend Klay Thompson.<\/p>\n

In a statement posted to Instagram today, the rapper said she’ll be finishing her role as Zidler on May 1, despite being scheduled in the show until May 17. \ufeff<\/p>\n

“\ufeffIt’s been such an honour to be part of Moulin Rouge and I’ve met so many amazing people in this theatre,” she said.<\/p>\n

“Y’all work so hard and I have so much respect for the dedication, the stamina, the work ethic, the time and the effort y’all put into the work.”<\/p>\n

“Every single person at the Moulin Rouge! has inspired me to go harder as an entertainer. I’m so grateful for the cast and crew that made this experience so meaningful.<\/p>\n

“Y’all are really some of the kindest human beings I’ve ever met! To all the Hotties that showed up or planned to attend, thank you for supporting me during this incredible journey!”<\/p>\n

The announcement comes after an eventful week for the rapper, who \ufeffbroke down crying during a standing ovation after a show hours after accusing her ex-boyfriend of cheating on her.<\/p>\n

The Broadway star and hitmaker, legally known as Megan Pete, wiped away tears as she received a standing ovation, with fans cheering for her\ufeff in the background of the video.<\/p>\n

“We love you!,” one fan could be heard yelling at the Grammy Winner. \ufeff<\/p>\n

The video has reached 4 million views online and prompted an outpouring of support for Megan.<\/p>\n

“It’s the way you show up even while carrying so much \u2013 that’s what makes you THAT girl. You always have a little sister riding for you at dawn. I love you, sister,” WNBA star Angel Reese wrote in a post on X, referring to the video.<\/p>\n

“Just a girl carrying the weight of the world. We love you Meg even on your darkest of days, don’t you ever forget it!” Rapper Monaleo added.<\/p>\n

\ufeffMegan’s Broadway performance came just hours after she publicly blasted Thompson in an Instagram story, alleging he cheated on her during their relationship.<\/p>\n

The Dallas Mavericks player has not addressed the allegations.<\/p>\n

“Cheating, had me around your whole family playing house \u2026 got ‘cold feet,'” she wrote on Instagram Stories on Saturday.<\/p>\n

A few hours later, she issued an official statement to Page Six,<\/a> confirming the pair had split up.<\/p>\n

\ufeff”I’ve made the decision to end my relationship with Klay,” the statement read.<\/p>\n

“Trust, fidelity and respect are non-negotiable for me in a relationship, and when those values are compromised, there’s no real path forward.<\/p>\n

“I’m taking this time to prioritise myself and move ahead with peace and clarity.”<\/p>\n

The pair had dated for nine months and had reportedly been talking about moving in together before the split.<\/p>\n

Thompson has not addressed the allegations.<\/p>\n
