\u201cWhat a day,\u201d said Patterson.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe struggled all day with the car, to be fair. We had a bit of a mechanical issue we were driving around.<\/p>\n
\u201cJust had a little bit of an engine issue that was playing up that we had to manage.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe pace wasn\u2019t there but we\u2019re smart, we\u2019ve done enough racing.<\/p>\n
\u201cBrains normally win most races around the world, so I think we managed it pretty good.<\/p>\n
\u201cTo get the win in the Silverstone 500 with what we\u2019ve had today is pretty mega.<\/p>\n
\u201cI guess we got a little bit lucky with the strategy but you create your own luck, so we\u2019re happy.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve learned not to get too excited too early,\u201d said Shahin.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnything can happen in the last few minutes. We were getting excited at the 35-minute mark and then the Safety Car came out and then we were just hoping that the car would be fine.<\/p>\n
\u201cAll\u2019s well that ends well.\u201d<\/p>\n
Australia\u2019s other interest, Josh Buchan and Cameron Campbell, failed to finish after their Rodin Motorsport Ferrari 296 suffered damage after contact with a slower GT4 car.<\/p>\n
