Taylor Swift gave an extensive video interview, and spoke about the detective work some of her fans do to try and guess who certain songs might be about.<\/p>\n

If you don\u2019t know, the 36-year-old superstar is well-known for leaving Easter eggs for Swifties, and many are considered some of the best detectives on the Internet!<\/p>\n

Taylor spoke out about this topic during a sit down to discuss her biggest hits with The New York Times Magazine<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Some fans, she said, will take things to an \u201cextreme place\u201d and she revealed when things get \u201cweird\u201d for her.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s corners of my fan base who are going to take things to a really extreme place. There\u2019s nothing I can do about that. There\u2019s people who are going to try and do\u2026detective work,\u201d Taylor explained. <\/p>\n

\u201cWhen it gets a little bit weird to me when people act like it\u2019s sort of a paternity test. Like, this songs about that person. Because I\u2019m like, \u2018That dude didn\u2019t write the song, I did!\u2019 But, that\u2019s part of it. You have to hold tight to your perception of your art, and your relationship with it,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n
