Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens star Kendrick Nunn delivered a star-worthy performance in the EuroLeague playoffs Game 1 against Valencia Basket.<\/p>\n

Nunn finished the game with 21 points (5\/8 2PT, 3\/10 3PT, 2\/4 FT), 2 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 steal in 33 minutes of action.<\/p>\n

Most importantly, he made the game-winning free-throw with 2.1 seconds left that decided Panathinaikos 68-67 win.<\/p>\n

“Make the free throw. That’s it,” Nunn told BasketNews<\/a> about his mindset before the crucial free throws.<\/p>\n

“I got the experience of a veteran player,” Nunn continued about his overall performance. “This is my fifth playoff, including the league [NBA]. So I got the experience there. And just want to come out aggressive.”<\/p>\n

“It’s not a regular season. It’s not a regular season game. So I approach it like that. And that’s how it would be for the rest of the season,” Nunn added.<\/p>\n

Despite his heroics, Nunn also ended up on the wrong side of the highlights after being blocked by Brancou Badio.<\/p>\n

Even though a case could have been made for a foul, Nunn credited his opponent.<\/p>\n

“It was probably clean play. It was probably clean play. It was a great chase down by him. It was a good play,” Nunn concluded.<\/p>\n
