Thirty-six teams will contest the first round of this year\u2019s Kate Sheppard Cup.<\/p>\n

NZ Football conducted the draw on Wednesday April 29, to determine who will meet in the round of ties planned for May 8-10, 2026.<\/p>\n

Nine clubs received byes in the draw.<\/p>\n

In the Northern\/WaiBOP region, all the teams from the Lotto NRFL Women\u2019s Premiership received byes, except for Melville United, who have not entered this year\u2019s competition.<\/p>\n

Auckland clubs Franklin United and Northern Rovers also drew an automatic progression to Round 2.<\/p>\n

Five clubs \u2014 all from the Women\u2019s Central League \u2014 received byes in the Central\/Capital section of the draw.<\/p>\n
