\nNASHVILLE, Tenn. – – Belmont University men’s basketball head coach Evan Bradds announced Wednesday the signing of Vincent Neugebauer [NOY-guh-BAUER] to play basketball for the Bruins, starting with summer 2026 enrollment.<\/p>\n

\nThis past season, the 7-1 center made 14 game appearances for Florida Atlantic.
\n\u00a0
\nHe had a season-high 11 points in 12 minutes vs. College of Charleston.
\n\u00a0
\nA native of Paderborn, Germany, Neugebauer has significant national team experience, representing Germany in the 2021 FIBA U20 championships \u2013 where he was teammates with Tristan Da Silva of the Orlando Magic – and the 2025 FIBA U23 3×3 championships.

\nNeugebauer averaged 14.9 points, 9.2 rebounds, and 1.6 blocked shots per game with Erdgas Ehingen in Germany.

\nBelmont University men’s basketball has been a postseason fixture for the last two decades, including nine berths to the NCAA Tournament. The Bruins have won 21 conference championships since 2006 – third-most nationally over that span (behind Gonzaga and Kansas). Belmont has won 20 or more games in 16 consecutive seasons (alongside Gonzaga and Kansas) and 19 or more games in 21 consecutive seasons (alongside Gonzaga, Kansas, and San Diego State). Belmont is among select programs with two or more first-round selections in the NBA Draft over the last six years (Ben Sheppard, Dylan Windler). Belmont University men’s basketball boasts an NCAA-leading 20 Academic All-America selections since 2001 and is the only NCAA Division I program to make the NCAA Academic Progress Rate (APR) Honor Roll every year of its existence. Belmont is the only NCAA Division I institution in America whose men’s and women’s basketball programs have won 20 or more games in 11 consecutive seasons.
