He plays with a relentless motor and is a highly proficient run defender, exploding to the ball whenever a ball-carrier is in sight.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-4\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"6u\">Rolder compiled 57 total tackles, two sacks and 13 pressures in his final season in Ann Arbor, earning a 74.8 overall Pro Football Focus grade for his efforts. He also recorded a sterling run-defense mark of 80.1.<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-5\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"6x\">\u201cWhen you\u2019re writing comparisons down when I\u2019m watching him, I wrote down Evel Knievel for how aggressive he took on blocks,\u201d Jeremiah said of Rolder on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nfl.com\/videos\/which-draft-pick-best-fits-dan-campbell-s-identity-for-lions-path-to-the-draft\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cPath to the Draft\u201d<\/a> on NFL Network.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-6\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"70\">Meanwhile, Moore \u2013 whom the Lions dealt two picks (No. 50 overall and No. 128 overall) to obtain at No. 44 \u2013 should provide Detroit with a reliable <a href=\"https:\/\/www.si.com\/nfl\/lions\/onsi\/detroit-lions-sign-new-free-agent-linebacker-defensive-tackle\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">pass-rushing complement<\/a> for Pro Bowl EDGE Aidan Hutchinson.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-7\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"73\">The 6-foot-3, 255-pounder amassed a career-best 10-sacks, 30 total tackles, including 10.5 tackles for loss, three passes defensed and two forced fumbles in his final campaign with the Wolverines.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-9\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"7a\">And for his efforts in 2025, he earned first-team All-Big Ten honors and an 89.9 overall grade from PFF, good for 18th best among 852 qualified EDGE defenders.<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-10\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"7d\">Jeremiah was impressed with the physicality exuded by Moore at this year\u2019s Senior Bowl in Mobile, Ala.<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-11\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"7g\">\u201cAnd then (there\u2019s) his teammate here in Derrick Moore, how physical and violent he played, culminating in what we saw in the Senior Bowl,\u201d Jeremiah expressed. \u201cI mean, we watched him in that Senior Bowl and one of the most physical reps of the entire weekend (came) against \u2018Big Mountain of (Markel) Bell\u2019 there. But, he went up against the top tackles they had to offer down there, and it was physical, physical, physical, both to and through the whistle.\u201d<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-12\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"7j\">Both Moore and Rolder have a chance to make an immediate impact in Detroit defensive coordinator <a href=\"https:\/\/www.si.com\/nfl\/lions\/onsi\/detroit-lions-sign-new-free-agent-linebacker-defensive-tackle\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Kelvin Sheppard\u2019s unit<\/a>.
