Jimmy Barnes<\/a> has celebrated his milestone 70th birthday surrounded by his closest family and friends.<\/a><\/p>\n

The Cold Chisel rocker has now revealed he erupted into ”tears” during a very “special moment” during the celebrations.<\/p>\n

The Working Class Man singer \ufeff<\/a>told his more than 252,000 Instagram followers his grandchildren performed A Million Dreams from The Greatest Showman in a “moving” gesture, sharing footage of the moment.<\/p>\n

“I have to share this special moment at my birthday party,” the Scottish-Australian rocker wrote.<\/p>\n

“Grandchildren Betty, Billy, Rosie and Dylan singing ‘A Million Dreams’ from ‘The Greatest Showman’ accompanied by Leo on the piano.<\/p>\n

“There’s something very moving about children’s voices, they had me and half the room in tears. I’m a lucky man.”<\/p>\n

“The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.. strong genes showing there \ud83c\udfa4,” one follower comment underneath.<\/p>\n

The rock icon, who is the father of Today Extra star David Campbell, also shared images from his party including the moment he cut a lavish red and fruit-topped cake.<\/p>\n

He said a speech and had a microphone in his hand as family including his wife Jane Barnes and \ufeffdaughter Mahalia Barnes stood beside him.<\/p>\n

“Thank you for all my birthday wishes. I had a huge celebration with family and friends last night. Recovering with an easy pizza day out in the garden,” he said in one post.<\/p>\n

Jane also shared a post on Barnes’ official page, sharing a public birthday message to her husband and writing in part: “Today we celebrate 70 years of my incredible husband – the love of my life.<\/p>\n

“Jimmy, you are the most caring, generous, funny, and talented man I know, and we are all so lucky to share this life with you.”\ufeff<\/p>\n

Hailing from Glasgow, Scotland, he is a father of eight and one of Australia’s most successful rockers.\ufeff<\/p>\n
