On Wednesday (US time) during the Regions Tradition pro-am, John Daly knocked his approach shot close on the 17th hole. With five feet left to clean up, he pulled a random kid out of the crowd to give it a roll. In a move that would make even the most militant pace-of-play hardliners tip their cap, the kid took one look at the line and buried it before Daly was even clear of his backswing.<\/p>\n https:\/\/twitter.com\/alabamabart\/status\/2049599298334019929<\/a><\/p>\n What an awesome moment for the young man, and yet another example of Daly of being golf\u2019s biggest (and best) kid. He\u2019s had plenty of struggles off the course over the years and many may not agree with his outspoken politics, but time and time again we\u2019ve seen him go out of his way to make someone else\u2019s day better. This is a prime example.<\/p>\n Do you think this kid will ever forget the day he drained a birdie putt with John Daly\u2019s putter? Hell no.
