On Thursday, the New York Yankees<\/a> had an off day before their series with the Baltimore Orioles<\/a> (that starts on Friday).<\/p>\n

That said, their Triple-A team (the Scranton\/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders) had a game (at home) that they won 5-4.<\/p>\n

George Lombard Jr. finished<\/a> with one hit, two walks and two runs in his Triple-A debut.<\/p>\n

Lombard Jr.\u2019s Background<\/p>\n

Lombard Jr. was picked 26th in the 2023 MLB<\/a> Draft.<\/p>\n

He had been batting<\/a> .312 in Double-A this season.<\/p>\n
