We’ve all feared getting an earring stuck, but this is much worse.<\/p>\n

Radio star Fifi Box<\/a>, 49, revealed her face “started to feel paralysed” after \ufeffa freak accident involving her earring left her in excruciating pain.<\/p>\n

“I thought I was heading to the emergency ward at the hospital \ufeffbecause I was in so much trouble,” she told listeners this week on Hit Network’s Fifi, Fev and Nick<\/a> show.<\/p>\n

Fifi explained she was chewing gum on Wednesday when the right side of her face was “throbbing”.<\/p>\n

“It was the most acute pain in my jaw and my ear \ufeffbut I was panicking going, what was happening to my face?”<\/p>\n

She was in so much pain but couldn’t understand why. Then it hit her.<\/p>\n

\"RadioThe mum-of-two was originally left puzzled over the sudden pain. (Instagram \/ @fifi_box)<\/p>\n

She remembered the day before, \ufeffshe knocked her head on co-host Fev’s shoulder.<\/p>\n

“I screamed, do you remember I screamed at first?” she recalled. \ufeff”I thought my ear was bleeding.”<\/p>\n

She remembered that her earring with a post, the small rod that passes through the ear, had “punctured” her neck as they collided.<\/p>\n

“I was thinking to myself, I’ve jabbed like a nerve or something,” she realised.<\/p>\n

\"RadioThe star said the pain was so bad, she couldn’t eat all day. (Instagram \/ @fifi_box)<\/p>\n

“If there’s any acupuncturist listening, they might know what happened. But it was like I’d given myself nerve damage to the point where I couldn’t eat yesterday.”<\/p>\n

The mum-of-two then asked AI to help diagnose her medical “emergency” while on-air, which suggests she’s doing just fine.<\/p>\n
