The 43-year-old Australian supermodel attended the Living Beauty Cancer Foundation\u2019s spring luncheon in Beverly Hills where she was celebrated for her commitment to wellness and social impact which she began after her mum was diagnosed with tumours in her spleen.<\/p>\n
However, when she went to accept the award from the cancer charity\u2019s founder Maison Merenor, the zipper at the back of her butter yellow halter dress suddenly snapped.<\/p>\n
\u201cI was like, \u2018My zipper broke. That\u2019s why I\u2019m walking like this, not showing my back,\u2019\u201d she told People magazine.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut it\u2019s still broken, and hopefully I\u2019ll be able to get out of it because it couldn\u2019t go up and down to fix it. But that\u2019s okay.\u201d<\/p>\n
During her speech, the Kora Organics founder addressed the mishap which she couldn\u2019t have handled better.<\/p>\n
\u201cMy zip just broke in the back, but that\u2019s okay, it happens. You\u2019re looking at me from the front and worse things have happened,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

After the event, the former Victoria\u2019s Secret Angel said it was such an honour to receive the award.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis means so much to me.<\/p>\n
\u201cAs many of you know, my journey into health and wellness began after my mum was diagnosed with tumours in her spleen, which led me to create @koraorganics.<\/p>\n
\u201cI feel so aligned with Living Beauty\u2019s mission to support and uplift women navigating cancer with care and compassion.\u201d<\/p>\n
Kerr is a mother of four.
