Demi Lovato is embracing her body by putting her toned physique on display.<\/p>\n

The singer, 32, flaunted her figure in a mirror selfie shared via her Instagram Story on Monday, August 11. In the shot, she showed off her bare midriff in a cream-colored long-sleeve top that gathered in the middle. She paired the statement piece with simple black pants, which were high-waisted and fitted through the leg. She accessorized her glamorous look with black pointed-toe heels and oversized black sunglasses.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere on Monday, Lovato was spotted strolling the streets of New York City wearing the same outfit, with a dry cleaning bag thrown over her shoulder that housed what appeared to be a hot pink cocktail dress.<\/p>\n

Throughout her years in the spotlight, Lovato has been forthcoming about her body image issues and past struggles with eating disorders<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In March 2021, Lovato revealed via an Instagram post<\/a> that she \u201caccidentally lost weight\u201d amid her recovery.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t count calories anymore. I don\u2019t overexercise anymore. I don\u2019t restrict or purge. And I especially don\u2019t live my life accordingly to the diet culture \u2026 and I\u2019ve actually lost weight,\u201d she wrote at the time. \u201cThis is a different experience, but I feel full. Not of food but of divine wisdom and cosmic guidance, peace, serenity, joy and love.\u201d<\/p>\n

In October 2024, Lovato explained how she maintains healthy boundaries after previously suffering from eating disorders.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have a treatment team that I work with that helps me stay in recovery, and I\u2019ve been in recovery from bulimia for five, going on six, years now,\u201d she said on \u201cPodcrushed\u201d<\/a> at the time. \u201cI\u2019m trying to learn body acceptance rather than body positivity because body positivity feels like, \u2018I can\u2019t even reach that yet.\u2019 I have a nutritionist and a therapist that specializes in eating disorders.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added, \u201cThe main thing that I\u2019m working on is just body acceptance and looking in the mirror being like, \u2018This body is strong. \u2026 This body is a miracle.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
