Despite already being contracted until the end of 2027, May, alongside his brother, agreed to remain at the Tigers on a fresh extension that secures their futures for another three seasons.<\/p>\n

This long-term extension has now opened the door for Tyrone May to join his two brothers at the club in the near future.<\/p>\n
A member of the Hull Kingston Rovers, the former Panthers premiership-winner is contracted with the Super League outfit until the end of 2027, but hasn\u2019t ruled out a potential return to the NRL in the past.<\/p>\n
\u201cThat\u2019s always the goal,\u201d Taylan, the youngest of the three brothers, said.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy brother\u2019s going really well over there, but in saying that, it\u2019s probably the best thing that\u2019s happened to him.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe\u2019s changed a lot and he\u2019s just a completely different person and he enjoys it. He gets left alone there, and he loves travelling.<\/p>\n
\u201cI learn a lot (from them) but in saying that, I feel like I\u2019m the oldest. I feel like we help each other in different ways but they\u2019ve been good, especially Terrell being here.<\/p>\n
\u201cThat\u2019s the reason I came, because Terrell is here. He made me comfortable around the boys and that just makes it easier being around him.\u201d<\/p>\n
While he may have to wait a couple more seasons to play alongside his older brother, May has backed his other brother and current Wests Tigers teammate Terrell to be called up in the NSW Blues squad for the opening match of the 2026 State of Origin series.<\/p>\n

Snubbed by Blues coach Laurie Daley last year in favour of the likes of Max King and Stefano Utoikamanu, May has continued his standout form and hasn\u2019t missed a beat.<\/p>\n
There is also a vacant spot in the front row after Payne Haas suffered a knee injury and has subsequently been ruled out of Game One.<\/p>\n
\u201cA hundred per cent, I think he deserves it,\u201d May added.<\/p>\n
\u201cEspecially last year, I felt like he deserved that, but I\u2019m not the coach and I don\u2019t pick the Blues team.<\/p>\n
