Norwood has closed out the League\u2019s first edition of Energised Round perfectly, with a big win over Glenelg.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Norwood Football Club hosted all four SANFL Women\u2019s matches at Coopers Stadium in a League-first initiative, and the Redlegs made the most of the \u201cGather Round\u201d style format with a clinical win over the Bays.<\/p>\n
It was a tight first quarter, with both sides booting one goal apiece, Norwood\u2019s first coming off the boot of Steph Simmonds, who finished with two for the evening.<\/p>\n
Norwood dominated the second term, but was costly in front of goal, booting 2.5 to 1.0 to go into half time leading by 13 points.<\/p>\n
The Redlegs were outstanding after half time, starting with a three-unanswered-goal third term to put the game to bed by the final break, leading 6.8 to 2.2.<\/p>\n
