Cameron Young finally captured his first PGA Tour victory at last year’s Wyndham Championship, and since then the floodgates have opened for the veteran pro. He was one of the few bright spots on the U.S. Ryder Cup team at Bethpage Black, and then he backed up his first victory in a big way by winning the 2026 Players Championship.

Heading into Saturday’s third round at this week’s Cadillac Championship, Young has his eyes firmly set on win No. 3. Through two rounds, he’s built a five-shot lead, reaching 13 under par so far at Trump Doral’s Blue Monster.

His closest chasers to start Round 3 are Jordan Spieth, looking for his first win since 2022, and Nick Taylor.

Meanwhile, brand-new PGA Tour pro Alex Fitzpatrick is T6 at six under in his first appearance in a Signature Event. World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler is in the same position after shooting a 67 on Friday.
