On Saturday night, the Los Angeles Dodgers<\/a> will continue their series with the St. Louis Cardinals<\/a> in Missouri.<\/p>\n

The Dodgers are coming off a 7-2 loss on Friday.<\/p>\n

Their offense has been a problem over the last week.<\/p>\n

Dodgers Should Trade For Struggling Former All-Star\"\"<\/p>\n

One player the Dodgers should look to acquire is Marcell Ozuna<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The three-time All-Star is off to a very slow start to his stint with the Pittsburgh Pirates.<\/p>\n

That said, he is coming off a year where he hit 21 home runs and 68 RBI\u2019s for the Atlanta Braves<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Ozuna is currently batting .165 with three home runs, ten RBI\u2019s and seven runs.<\/p>\n

Based on his production, it\u2019s possible the Pirates would be willing to give him up for little to nothing.<\/p>\n

For the Dodgers, they would be getting an ideal rental to have as depth for their playoff run.<\/p>\n

He also has a contract<\/a> that they could move off of in 2027.<\/p>\n

Ozuna spent the first five seasons of his career with the Miami Marlins<\/a> (making two All-Star Games in that span).<\/p>\n

The 35-year-old then played two seasons for the St. Louis Cardinals.<\/p>\n

With the Braves, Ozuna made one more All-Star Game, and helped them make the MLB<\/a> playoffs five times.<\/p>\n

As recently as 2024, he was fourth<\/a> in National League MVP voting.<\/p>\n
