The funding<br \/>\nwill support the company\u2019s efforts to develop a foundational AI model for<br \/>\nchronic disease detection. <\/p>\n<p>dehaze\u2019s platform uses causal AI to analyse large<br \/>\nvolumes of patient data, enabling healthcare payers to identify individuals at<br \/>\nrisk of chronic conditions earlier, improve intervention outcomes, and reduce<br \/>\ncosts.<\/p>\n<p>Chronic diseases remain the largest cost driver in<br \/>\nglobal healthcare systems, accounting for around 70 per cent of deaths and more<br \/>\nthan $8 trillion in annual spending, according to the World Health<br \/>\nOrganization. Despite the abundance of available health data, clinicians<br \/>\ntypically review only a small fraction before making decisions, contributing to<br \/>\na significant share of conditions going undetected at earlier, more treatable<br \/>\nstages.<\/p>\n<p>dehaze aims to address this gap through a purpose-built<br \/>\nmodel designed specifically for healthcare data. Its system processes<br \/>\nheterogeneous datasets at scale and provides causal insights that support<br \/>\ndecision-making for both clinicians and insurers. The company says its approach<br \/>\ncan help reduce medical loss ratios while enabling earlier and more effective<br \/>\ntreatment.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/marius-klages-96a32b68\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Marius Klages<\/a>, co-founder and CEO of dehaze, said the<br \/>\ncompany was built in Munich from the ground up as a foundational AI model for<br \/>\nchronic disease detection, rather than as a chatbot or dashboard-style<br \/>\nsolution:<\/p>\n<p>Our customers are global from day one, because the<br \/>\nproblem is global from day one.
