In May 2024, after Jennifer Zamparelli’s shock exit, <\/a>she took over the mid-morning weekday slot from 9am \u2013 12pm.<\/p>\nMia, who finished up on Virgin Media One’s The Six O\u2019Clock Show last month, made her radio debut on 2FM last October when she stepped in to cover a weekend programme.<\/p>\n
The pair agreed that their long-running friendship and mutual respect for each other, along with starring together on RT\u00c9 One’s Dancing with the Stars in 2024, is what will make this show such a blast to work on.<\/p>\n
Recalling how they first met, Fox told RT\u00c9 Entertainment: “I first met Katja in 2019. We clicked straight away. It was at a Dermalogica event – I\u2019ll never forget it. I was with Emma [Power] and she was by herself, and we spotted each other from across the room.<\/p>\n
“We spent so much time together when we were on Dancing with the Stars. Since then, we\u2019ve met regularly for lunches and coffees. Even before this, we were going to each other\u2019s weddings,” she explained.<\/p>\n

\nThe three-hour show promises plenty of caller interaction, great contributors, and, of course, plenty of craic and banter from Katja Mia and Laura Fox<\/p>\n
Mia agreed, saying that while it’s surprising they\u2019ve never worked together before, they\u2019ve been on a similar journey.<\/p>\n
“Over the years, we\u2019ve always had mutual respect for each other through Instagram, and then doing Dancing with the Stars together and becoming friends – this feels so exciting. We are absolutely buzzing to start on Tuesday,” she shared.<\/p>\n
Fox said she loves the buzz of live radio and its unpredictable nature, adding: “You\u2019ve no idea what\u2019s going to happen at any time. That\u2019s what I\u2019m really excited about. I\u2019m excited about three full hours of caller interaction and having listeners on.”<\/p>\n
She continued: “We\u2019re keeping Aindri\u00fa de Paor – he\u2019s going to be part of the show. We\u2019ve loads of great contributors who will be coming in, but mainly it\u2019s just going to be me and Kat, and we\u2019re going to be there for a good time in your afternoons, driving you home.”<\/p>\n
