Pat Cummins conceded a staggering 27 runs in one over during Sunrisers Hyderabad’s Indian Premier League (IPL) loss to Kolkata Knight Riders.<\/p>\n

New Zealand’s Finn Allen pummelled Cummins for 22 of those runs during the Sunrisers captain’s second over in Hyderabad.<\/p>\n

Cummins did have the last laugh, however, as he dismissed Allen for 29 when the opener was caught by Heinrich Klaasen at deep midwicket.<\/p>\n

The Knight Riders went on to record a seven-wicket victory, ending the Sunrisers’ five-match winning streak.<\/p>\n

“Not our best day,” said Cummins, who finished with 1-47 from his four overs.<\/p>\n

Starc takes three on IPL return<\/a><\/p>\n

Mitchell Starc picked up three wickets on his first bowl in this year’s Indian Premier League, as Marnus Labuschagne helped Hyderabad United to the Pakistan Super League final.<\/p>\n

“The margins are quite small and if I hadn’t gone for about 30 in one over at the start, it might have been different as well.<\/p>\n

“Those little moments can make a big difference.”<\/p>\n

The Knight Riders finished 3-169, reaching the victory target with 10 balls to spare.<\/p>\n

Allen made 29, while Angkrish Raghuvanshi top-scored with 59.<\/p>\n

It was the Knight Riders’ third straight win.<\/p>\n

Earlier, Travis Head bludgeoned 61 off 28 for the Sunrisers, who were all out for 165.<\/p>\n

Head, who opened the batting with Abhishek Sharma (15), hit nine fours and three sixes.<\/p>\n

Fellow Australian Cameron Green took 1-34 for the Knight Riders.<\/p>\n
