DISC golf is set to arrive at the Maleny Precinct, with a new three-hole course being developed in partnership with the Sunshine Coast Disc Golf Club and the Maleny District Sport and Recreation Council (MDSRC).<\/p>\n
The innovative setup will offer locals and visitors a fun, accessible way to get active in the open spaces of the precinct.<\/p>\n
MDSRC representative Greg Williams said the new offering would add a fresh dimension to community sport at the venue. <\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ve been working with the Sunshine Coast Disc Golf Club, and they\u2019ve provided us with three full disc golf setups and around a dozen discs,\u201d Mr Williams said. \u201cWe\u2019re going to set them up on our licensed area so people can come and play disc golf as a new sport that\u2019s available here.\u201d<\/p>\n
Mr Williams said disc golf was designed to be easy to pick up and enjoy. \u201cIt\u2019s a fun little game.
