{"id":648438,"date":"2026-05-04T06:08:08","date_gmt":"2026-05-04T06:08:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/648438\/"},"modified":"2026-05-04T06:08:08","modified_gmt":"2026-05-04T06:08:08","slug":"hours-long-lines-and-late-exits-prompt-bts-fans-to-arrive-early-for-sun-bowl-night-two","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/648438\/","title":{"rendered":"Hours-long lines and late exits prompt BTS fans to arrive early for Sun Bowl night two"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14\/CBS4) \u2014 EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14\/CBS4) \u2014 Despite hours-long waits to get into the Sun Bowl and even longer delays leaving after the first show, BTS fans returned for a second night in El Paso determined to do it all over again, this time with a plan.<\/p>\n<p>On Saturday night, thousands of people waited in line for hours to get inside the Sun Bowl for the first night of BTS\u2019 first concert of the weekend.<\/p>\n<p>When the show ended, the lines didn\u2019t.<\/p>\n<p>Some concertgoers said it took up to two hours just to leave, and they didn\u2019t get home until nearly 2 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOh my gosh, it was an hour and a half before we got home after the concert ended. It took us an hour and a half to get home,\u201d one fan said.<\/p>\n<p>Even so, fans came back for night two and said they arrived earlier to try to avoid the worst of the lines.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe were here at 4 o\u2019clock yesterday, and we were all the way back on the other side of the stadium, and so we decided to get here early today just to maybe skip all that, and it looks like were successful,\u201d Christopher said.<\/p>\n<p>Another fan described the previous night\u2019s wait, \u201cIt was about three hours, lines wrapped all the way around to Humble Drive. Yesterday we were behind the sun bowl, so today we\u2019re a lot closer,\u201d another fan said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have our umbrellas, we have our fans, we\u2019re ready,\u201d the fan added.<\/p>\n<p>Fans said the long lines and late nights were still worth it.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe introduced me to BTS about a year and a half ago, and it really helped me through some really hard times in the past year. It\u2019s really nice to be able to come out and support BTS.\u201d one husband said.<\/p>\n<p>Another fan said they were \u201csuper excited to be here, we\u2019ve been following BTS for like 10 years. BTS is a source of happiness, the energy, the vibe they bring.
