Olivia Rodrigo has mocked her former Disney Channel co-star, Jake Paul, during her hosting gig on \u201cSaturday Night Live\u201d.<\/p>\n
The pop star pulled double duty as musical guest and host on the variety show over the weekend where she couldn\u2019t help but poke fun of Paul, who was her castmate on the comedy series Bizaardvark.<\/p>\n
The show made them both famous and Rodrigo reflected on how far they\u2019ve come in her opening monologue \u2013 she just dropped her third studio album, you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love and he has carved out a YouTube and boxing career for himself. <\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I was 13, I was on a Disney show called Bizaardvark, and we had an incredible cast, which included acting legend Jake Paul,\u201d 23-year-old Rodrigo began. \u201cAnd we\u2019d always talk about our futures, me and Jake.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019d say, \u2018I really wanna create music that explores the complexities of girls my age,\u2019 and he\u2019d say, \u2018Well, one day I really wanna beat up old guys on Netflix,\u2019\u201d she joked. <\/p>\n
Stream Saturday Night Live on BINGE<\/a>, available on Hubbl<\/a>.<\/p>\n Paul, 29, famously fought retired boxing champ Mike Tyson in 2024, when the legend was 58 years old, and the fight was streamed globally on Netflix to an audience of 108 million. <\/p>\n \u201cAnd we both did it, hooray!\u201d Rodrigo concluded.<\/p>\n The internet erupted with laughter over the singer\u2019s humorous remark, but the joke appeared lost on Paul, who happily took a walk down memory lane with his former Disney cohort.<\/p>\n \u201cWe had the vision [crying laughing emoji] i told you that you would sell stadiums out and then we both did proud of you fr [for real],\u201d he tweeted on X. <\/p>\n When one fan commented that Rodrigo was being shady in her remarks, writing, \u201cI think he didn\u2019t get that she laughed at him and not with him,\u201d he again took to X to insist he knew she was poking fun at him. <\/p>\n \u201cI got that she was making a joke at my expense. So what,\u201d he tweeted. \u201cShe\u2019s on SNL and that\u2019s what they are supposed to do.
