US talk show host Jimmy Fallon left fans astonished after biting F1 legend Martin Brundle\u2019s microphone during his live gridwalk at the Miami Grand Prix<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Former driver Brundle regularly goes viral on social media for his pre-race stroll down the pit straight as he bumps into a variety of famous faces.<\/p>\n

On Monday morning (AEST), one of those celebrities was late night presenter Fallon, 51.<\/p>\n

But the moment between the two took a rather strange turn \u2014 and sparked quite the reaction online.<\/p>\n

An excited Fallon reacted to Brundle by asking: \u201cCan I get anything for you?\u201d<\/p>\n

To which the legendary F1 pundit responded: \u201cI need some funny lines. I need everything. A cup of British tea.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fallon then cut Brundle short by grabbing the Sky Sports mic and bizarrely biting off the foam windscreen.<\/p>\n

He then gave it back and added: \u201cWhat are we doing here?,\u201d while Brundle joked: \u201cYou can keep that if you like.\u201d<\/p>\n

Reacting to the moment, social media user Lucky Rebel said: \u201cNo, that wasn\u2019t a fever dream. Jimmy Fallon just tried to eat Martin Brundle\u2019s mic cover.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Matthew replied: \u201cHe is so f***ing odd.\u201d<\/p>\n

Coolrillaman added: \u201cBrundle did NOT like that.\u201d<\/p>\n

And That Guy said: \u201cHe\u2019s rather embarrassing…\u201d<\/p>\n

After the strange viral moment, Brundle went on to ask Fallon whether it was his first Miami GP.<\/p>\n

To which he replied: \u201cFirst time here, it\u2019s nuts. Crazy, I\u2019m loving it. Miami has been a great host \u2013 I\u2019m going for Red Bull (to win).<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been here hanging out, good people, good restaurants, good fun, it\u2019s loud and exciting.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m so happy to see you, this is the highlight right here.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli won the race to his lead at the top of the Drivers\u2019 Championship to 20 points.<\/p>\n

Defending champion Lando Norris secured his first podium of the season with a second-place finish, while McLaren teammate Australian Oscar Piastri rounded off the podium.<\/p>\n

Antonelli\u2019s teammate George Russell could only manage fourth ahead of four-time champion Max Verstappen.<\/p>\n
