Three Tasmania Police employees have been charged over separate incidents in the space of six days.<\/p>\n
Today, police said a 28-year-old constable from northern Tasmania had been “charged with common assault and issued with a Police Family Violence Order following an incident on Sunday”.<\/p>\n
The constable, who was off-duty at the time, will appear in the Launceston Magistrates Court on July 8.<\/p>\n
On Friday, police said a 39-year-old constable from southern Tasmania had been “charged with burglary and stealing, and common assault” following an incident on Friday morning.<\/p>\n
The constable, who was off duty at the time of the incident, will appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court on August 10.<\/p>\n
On April 29, police said a 24-year-old trainee constable from southern Tasmania had been “charged with one count of stealing”.<\/p>\n
The trainee constable is due to appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court on August 25.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Police said all the charges arose from investigations launched by the Tasmania Police Professional Standards Command.<\/p>\n
All of the employees have been stood down.<\/p>\n
