The Rolling Stones’ new album is imminent.<\/p>\n The Rolling Stones<\/a> are well into their seventh decade as a rock ‘n’ roll phenomenon and are still at the top of their game when it comes to building up anticipation for a new record.<\/p>\n The band revealed back when they released Hackney Diamonds<\/a> in 2023 that they had plenty of leftover material for a snappy follow-up, but in recent days, weeks and month they’ve been ramping up the expectation<\/a>.<\/p>\n There was the pseudonymous poster campaign and even a limited edition 7″ single ‘Rough and Twisted’<\/a> from The Cockroaches.<\/p>\n Then a global billboard campaign promising Foreign Tongues in well, foreign tongues.<\/p>\n And now The Rolling Stones<\/a> have unveiled the album cover, using a quirky sliding tiles puzzle to reveal the just-as-quirky final image.<\/p>\n The caption on the Instagram post reads 5\/5\/26 5pm BST \/ 6pm CEST \/ 12pm ET \/ 9am PT<\/p>\n So there’s clearly something big happening today.<\/p>\n And a visit to The Rolling Stones<\/a> website<\/a> reveals another interesting bit of promo.<\/p>\n Rolling Stones Studio Surveillance System.<\/p>\n Picture: The landing page seems to be a CCTV security room type setup, where fans can flick between nine cameras of a so-called ‘Studio Surveillance System’.<\/p>\n The details are light and all “cameras” are currently showing blank footage, but our guess is that come 5pm this afternoon, there’ll be more to see there.<\/p>\n While it’s not yet been officially confirmed, it’s been wildly reported that the planned release date for Foreign Tongues is July 10, 2026. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"5 May 2026, 11:46 The Rolling Stones – Foreign Tongues.
