High school boys tennis: Hornets win again, advance to regional final<\/p>\n

SALISBURY \u2013 Salisbury\u2019s boys tennis team won again on Wednesday, beating East Burke in a fourth-round matchup in the 4A dual team state playoffs.<\/p>\n
The Hornets prevailed 5-1.<\/p>\n
It was the first loss for third-seeded East Burke (15-1). Second-seeded Salisbury is 19-2 and advances to the regional final. That match will be played on Tuesday, May 12.<\/p>\n
AJ Jarrell lost at No. 1 singles to undefeated Luke Borders, but the Hornets won the rest of the singles matches in straight sets, so doubles weren\u2019t needed.<\/p>\n
Bryant Davis, Henry Walser, Aiden Moss, Owen Hammill and Luke Yang won singles matches for Salisbury.<\/p>\n
Davis and Jarrell will be in action as a doubles team in the individual 4A State Championships that will be staged in Burlington this weekend.<\/p>\n
