\n\tFirst Madonna<\/a>, now Stevie Nicks<\/a>! Which other legend is Sabrina Carpenter <\/a>going to duet with this year?<\/p>\n

\n\tCarpenter gave fans an inside peek at her time at the Met Gala<\/a> with a new carousel shared to Instagram<\/a> on Wednesday (May 6). In the post, Carpenter showed off two additional outfits that skipped the red carpet that she wore once inside the event. One was a Versace dress covered in Andy Warhol\u2019s famous pop art depictions of Marilyn Monroe and James Dean. The other was a gold fringe Bob Mackie number that she wore on stage to perform with none other than the legendary Stevie Nicks.<\/p>\n

\n\tCarpenter shared a photo of herself and Nicks grasping each other\u2019s hands and posing for the camera as well as a video of their duet. In the clip, the two singers are holding each other\u2019s hands once again as they sing Fleetwood Mac\u2019s Billboard Hot 100<\/a> hit \u201cLandslide.\u201d (The song debuted and peaked<\/a> on the chart at No. 41 in January 2026, more than 50 years after its release, following the track\u2019s appearance in the series finale of Stranger Things.)<\/p>\n

\n\tIn her caption, Carpenter expressed gratitude to Anna Wintour, Vogue and the Metropolitan Museum of Art for hosting her at the gala and for \u201cgiving [her] a beautiful new friend\u201d in Nicks.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cSinging together healed many things in me!\u201d Carpenter wrote, addressing Nicks.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe pop star also thanked the designers who crafted her \u201clegendary dresses\u201d and the team who \u201c[jumped] into chaos with [her] and [made] it all happen,\u201d tagging film director Baz Luhrmann, creative director and choreographer Jasmine Badie, Vogue\u2018s entertainment director Sergio Kletnoy and creative agency founder Keith Baptista. <\/p>\n

\n\tOn top of providing live musical entertainment during Monday night\u2019s event, Carpenter also served as a member of the Met Gala\u2019s host committee, working alongside Teyana Taylor<\/a>, Doja Cat<\/a>, Sam Smith<\/a> and more. <\/p>\n
