{"id":657233,"date":"2026-05-08T07:29:20","date_gmt":"2026-05-08T07:29:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/657233\/"},"modified":"2026-05-08T07:29:20","modified_gmt":"2026-05-08T07:29:20","slug":"jett-johnson-set-to-make-comeback-race-in-speedway-following-two-year-break","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/657233\/","title":{"rendered":"Jett Johnson set to make comeback race in Speedway following two year break"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>THIRD-GENERATION racer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.v8sleuth.com.au\/stats-driver-2755-Jett-Johnson\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jett Johnson<\/a> is set to step back behind the wheel, but with a twist, when he makes his speedway debut next weekend.<\/p>\n<p>Johnson is set to get behind the wheel of a Mircrosprint at Gatton\u2019s Lockyer Valley Speedway on Saturday, May 16th, a regional venue about an hour to the west of Brisbane that has grown popular in recent times following the closure of Archerfield Speedway.<\/p>\n<p>For the occasion, he will drive the Baker Racing machine, aptly numbered Q17.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"720\" height=\"540\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/jett-johnson-microsprint.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-255590\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>Johnson sampling his new office.
