The Blues will be aiming to return to winning ways in the Premier League, following defeat to Nottingham Forest last time out, and Calum McFarlane<\/a> and his staff put the players through their paces at Cobham on Friday before heading to Merseyside.<\/p>\n

McFarlane confirmed at his pre-match press conference on Thursday that both Reece James<\/a> and Levi Colwill<\/a> could be involved against Liverpool \u2013 with the latter having made his long-awaited return to action against Forest \u2013 and the duo both trained on Friday.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile our interim head coach also stated that Rob Sanchez and Jesse Derry<\/a> will both miss out with head injuries they sustained against Forest, while Pedro Neto<\/a> and Alejandro Garnacho<\/a> are both doubts.<\/p>\n
