The Joeys, <a href=\"https:\/\/football360.com.au\/under-17-asian-cup-australia-vs-india-joeys\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">who crushed India 4-0 in their tournament opener<\/a>, and Uzbekistan will go head-to-head on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>It means the Joeys are set to feature at the U17 World Cup for the first time since 2019, when they reached the Round of 16 with players like Ryan Teague, Noah Botic, Dundee United-bound Joshua Rawlins and Cameron Peupion.<\/p>\n<p>Now, this 2026 crop are looking to go further.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/football360.com.au\/under-17-asian-cup-australia-vs-india-joeys\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">On matchday one at the Asian Cup, Melbourne City duo Luke Becvinovski and Luka Demuth, APIA Leichhardt wonderkid Max Court, and Macarthur FC\u2019s Henrique Oliveira fuelled the comfortable win over India last week.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The Joeys are bound for the 2026 FIFA Under-17 World Cup after qualifying for the major tournament.
