After Sunday’s NBA Lottery concluded, basketball fans now have their first look at where the draft’s best talents may land.

The Washington Wizards were the event’s biggest winners, as they won the lottery sweepstakes at the No. 1 pick. The Utah Jazz obtained the No. 2 spot, while the Memphis Grizzlies will be drafting third overall.

Although the Wizards had a lottery-best 14% chance to win the lottery, it was far from a given among the three worst teams in the league. The Indiana Pacers and Brooklyn Nets also had 14% chances to win, but walked away with the Nos. 5 and 6 picks. To make matters worse for Indiana, they actually lost their pick due to the No. 5 spot being outside of their pick protections; the pick was given to the Los Angeles Clippers as a term for the Ivica Zubac trade.

With Washington trading for both Trae Young and Anthony Davis this past deadline, there leaves an opening in their forward spot to close out a potential “Big Three” for the upcoming season. BYU’s AJ Dybantsa should fit perfectly in that spot, and the notion that his name will be the first called on June 23 has grown increasingly more popular.

After Dybantsa, Kansas’ Darryn Peterson and Duke’s Cameron Boozer will most likely round out the top three. There is a slight dropoff from there, but Caleb Wilson, Keaton Wagler, and Darius Acuff are all quite intriguing prospects after stellar collegiate seasons.

Here’s a look at how the experts believe the first round will play out now that the order is set in stone, barring a trade.

NBA PLAYOFFS HQ: Live NBA scores | NBA playoff schedule | NBA playoff bracket

Sporting News Mock Draft (Steph Noh)

Released May 11:

PickTeamPlayerPositionCollege/Previous team1.WizardsAJ DybantsaSFBYU2.JazzDarryn PetersonGKansas3.GrizzliesCameron BoozerPFDuke4.BullsCaleb WilsonSF/PFNorth Carolina5.ClippersKeaton WaglerGIllinois6.NetsDarius AcuffGArkansas7.KingsKingston FlemingsPGHouston8.HawksBrayden BurriesGArizona9.MavericksYaxel LendeborgPFMichigan10.BucksMikel Brown Jr.GLouisville11.WarriorsAday MaraPFMichigan12.ThunderHannes SteinbachPF/CWashington13.HeatNate AmentSFTennessee14.HornetsJayden QuaintancePF/CKentucky15.BullsLabaron Philon Jr.PGAlabama16.GrizzliesCameron CarrSGBaylor17.ThunderBennett StirtzPGIowa18.HornetsKoa PeatPFArizona19.RaptorsMorez JohnsonPFMichigan20.SpursKarim LopezSFNew Zealand Breakers21.PistonsDailyn SwainSG/SFTexas22.76ersChris Cenac Jr.PF/CHouston23.HawksAllen GravesPFSanta Clara24.KnicksJoshua JeffersonPFIowa State25.LakersTarris Reed Jr.CUConn26.NuggetsIsaiah EvansSFDuke27.CelticsTyler TannerPGVanderbilt28.TimberwolvesChristian AndersonPGTexas Tech29.CavaliersAmari AllenSFAlabama30.MavericksAlex KarabanSGUConn

SN NBA AWARDS: POY (Victor Wembanyama) | ROY (Kon Knueppel) | COY (Joe Mazzulla)

ESPN Mock Draft (Jeremy Woo)

Released May 10:

PickTeamPlayerPositionCollege/Previous team1.WizardsAJ DybantsaSFBYU2.JazzDarryn PetersonGKansas3.GrizzliesCameron BoozerPFDuke4.BullsCaleb WilsonSF/PFNorth Carolina5.ClippersKeaton WaglerGIllinois6.NetsDarius AcuffGArkansas7.KingsKingston FlemingsPGHouston8.HawksMikel Brown Jr.GLouisville9.MavericksBrayden BurriesSGArizona10.BucksNate AmentSFTennessee11.WarriorsKarim LopezSFNew Zealand Breakers12.ThunderYaxel LendeborgPFMichigan13.HeatLabaron Philon Jr.PGAlabama14.HornetsAday MaraCMichigan15.BullsJayden QuaintancePF/CKentucky16.GrizzliesChristian AndersonPGTexas Tech17.ThunderHannes SteinbachPF/CWashington18.HornetsCameron CarrSG/SFBaylor19.RaptorsChris Cenac Jr.PF/CHouston20.SpursMorez JohnsonPFMichigan21.PistonsBennett StirtzPGIowa22.76ersAllen GravesPFSanta Clara23.HawksIsaiah EvansSFDuke24.KnicksKoa PeatPF/SGArizona25.LakersHenri VeesaarCNorth Carolina26.NuggetsDailyn SwainSG/SFTexas27.CelticsAmari AllenSFAlabama28.TimberwolvesEbuka OkoriePGStanford29.CavaliersMeleek ThomasPG/SGArkansas30.MavericksJoshua JeffersonPFIowa State

MORE: Who were the biggest winners and losers at the 2026 NBA Draft Lottery?

The Athletic Mock Draft (Sam Vecenie)

Released May 11:

PickTeamPlayerPositionCollege/Previous team1.WizardsAJ DybantsaSFBYU2.JazzDarryn PetersonGKansas3.GrizzliesCameron BoozerPFDuke4.BullsCaleb WilsonSF/PFNorth Carolina5.ClippersKeaton WaglerGIllinois6.NetsDarius AcuffGArkansas7.KingsKingston FlemingsPGHouston8.HawksMikel Brown Jr.GLouisville9.MavericksBrayden BurriesGArizona10.BucksNate AmentSFTennessee11.WarriorsAday MaraCMichigan12.ThunderYaxel LendeborgPFMichigan13.HeatLabaron Philon Jr.PGAlabama14.HornetsHannes SteinbachPF/CWashington15.BullsCameron CarrSGBaylor16.GrizzliesKoa PeatPFArizona17.ThunderMorez JohnsonPFMichigan18.HornetsChristian AndersonPGTexas Tech19.RaptorsJayden QuaintancePF/CKentucky20.SpursKarim LopezSFNew Zealand Breakers21.PistonsDailyn SwainSG/SFTexas22.76ersAmari AllenSFAlabama23.HawksChris Cenac Jr.PF/CHouston24.KnicksTarris Reed Jr.CUConn25.LakersHenri VeesaarCNorth Carolina26.NuggetsBennett StirtzPGIowa27.CelticsIsaiah EvansSFDuke28.TimberwolvesEbuka OkoriePGStanford29.CavaliersMeleek ThomasPG/SGArkansas30.MavericksTounde YessoufouGBaylor

MORE: How the new lottery rules would have affected NBA history

Yahoo Sports Mock Draft (Kevin O’Connor)
