Heading into this week, veteran Jake Melksham is expected to be an outside chance of returning from a syndesmosis injury he sustained in Gather Round. Nas\u2019 late inclusion Ryan Byrnes played his first AFL game for 2026 and had 15 disposals, but would be the most logical player to make way for the $2 million superstar. Liam Stocker was quiet in the \u2018Top End\u2019, which may open the door for an Angus Hastie-type to come into selection calculations after a busy VFL game off half-back.
