Fitness personality and entrepreneur Jake Steinfeld has teamed up with iHeartMedia and Universal Music Enterprises to launch Body By Jake Radio, a 24-hour digital radio channel focused on fitness, motivation and mental wellness.<\/p>\n
The channel launched on Monday (May 11) in connection with Mental Health Awareness Month and is available free through the iHeartRadio app.<\/p>\n
According to the companies, the station will combine music programming with motivational messages, fitness advice and wellness content. The channel will feature Steinfeld along with guests from the fitness and mental health fields and will offer different programming throughout the day designed to energize listeners in the morning and help them relax at night.<\/p>\n
Steinfeld, known for his \u201cBody By Jake\u201d fitness brand, helped pioneer televised fitness programming through ventures including exercise segments on CNN, the FitTV network and ExerciseTV on-demand programming.<\/p>\n
