Jake Paul could see his boxing career being over.<\/p>\n

Paul suffered a KO loss<\/a> to Anthony Joshua in December, in a fight in which he suffered a broken jaw as he had a massive step-up in competition. The influencer-turned-boxer was forced to undergo surgery<\/a>, and since then, he\u2019s been healing up.<\/p>\n

However, ahead of his promotion\u2019s debut MMA event on Saturday, Paul spoke to Ariel Helwani and revealed there is some unknown on his boxing future.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m getting some new scans here in a couple of days of the jaw, to get an update on the healing process,\u201d Paul said<\/a>. \u201cWe see what my doctors say. I think we will be able to get a more accurate timeframe, or can I even fight again? That is in the realm of possibilities of things. It does feel a lot better as weeks goes by, and time goes by. I defintely have to get cleared first to be able to spar. I\u2019m staying in shape, and enjoying some mit work.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jake Paul hints that boxing career could be over<\/p>\n

When asked by Helwani if Paul meant thi injury could end his boxing career, Paul confirmed as he said it depends on what his doctor has to say.<\/p>\n

\u201cMost defintely. I think it depends on how the bone heals, and then also, there is also a tooth missing here, I\u2019m pretty sure I will have to get an implanted tooth of some sort. We just have to see. Just figure out the smartest thing for me,\u201d Paul said.<\/p>\n

If Paul doesn\u2019t fight again it would be a bit of a surprise, as he was adamant he\u2019d be back in there after the loss to Joshua. Yet, perhaps after sustaining a serious injury, it has impacted his decision to box.<\/p>\n

If Paul doesn\u2019t box again, he\u2019d end his career with a record of 12-2. He has notable wins over Mike Tyson, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., Anderson Silva, Tyron Woodley, Nate Diaz, Mike Perry, and Ben Askren among others.<\/p>\n
