Keith Urban<\/a>‘s relationship with his daughters he shares with ex Nicole Kidman<\/a> is continuing despite their divorce.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The 58-year-old country star was recently unfollowed then refollowed on Instagram by eldest daughter Sunday Rose<\/a>, 17, amid reports there were tensions between them<\/a> and they were no longer speaking.\u00a0<\/p>\n

But now a source has spoken out and confirmed that Sunday and Faith, 15, are still in contact with their dad.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“The girls are very close with their mum and also protective of her,” the source told People<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“They do have a relationship with their dad, too.”<\/p>\n

The source added that despite what people may assume about their situation, things are actually really normal.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In late April Sunday appeared to unfollow her country singer dad on social media, with the subtle move quickly picked up.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The telling move spoke volumes about where they were currently after the high profile split, but it seemed to be a short-lived moment, within days she was following him again.\u00a0<\/p>\n

There were reports that things were tense between Urban and his daughters, with a source claiming they have taken Kidman’s side in it.<\/p>\n

“He is the cause of every problem in their minds and it’s harrowing for him,” a source told Daily Mail.<\/p>\n

“He loves those girls, but they are so angry at him and they’re blaming him.”\ufeff<\/p>\n

Urban and Kidman have tried to keep things amicable during the split, but the girls are “hurt” and have sided with their mum. \ufeff<\/p>\n

The exes split in September 2025 after nearly 20 years of marriage, and a day after the news broke, Kidman officially filed for divorce.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The former couple finalised their divorce in January and the girls are with their mum for a majority of time, per their custody agreement. \ufeff<\/p>\n

The move was a big one, with Kidman frequenting the event in the past with Urban by her side.<\/p>\n

It’s clear that her bond with her daughter’s is strong, with her eldest opening up about their relationship in an interview earlier this year.<\/p>\n

\ufeffSunday Rose gushed about her mum during a chat with Elle Magazine Australia, saying: “My mum is someone who has always been so creative and my biggest inspiration in life.”<\/p>\n

“She’s a key part of everything I do,” she added.<\/p>\n
