A 24-player squad has been named for the SANFLW\u2019s clash with WAFLW in Perth this Saturday.<\/p>\n
All eight SANFLW teams are represented, with South Adelaide and Woodville-West Torrens having the most players named in the squad, with five each.<\/p>\n
The selection committee \u2013 chaired by SANFL Now Commentator Phil Aspinall \u2013 has named several possible debutants for Saturday\u2019s clash, including Glenelg\u2019s Isla Wiencke and North\u2019s Ella Metcalfe.<\/p>\n
To be coached by Eagles\u2019 coach Narelle Smith, the Croweaters are looking to make it three wins in a row against the Sandgropers, previously defeating them by eight points at Adelaide Oval in 2025 and 16 points in 2024 at Optus Stadium.<\/p>\n
After a stellar start to the 2026 season, West Adelaide\u2019s Zoe Venning headlines the squad, with Central District having four players named in Laitiah Huynh, Lauren Breguet, Dakota Williams and Georgia Madigan.<\/p>\n
Sturt captain Alex Ballard and key forward Georgia King have also been named, with Norwood\u2019s Jade Halfpenny, Coby Morgan and Emily Bartsch also chosen.<\/p>\n
South Australia will take on WA from 2:10pm (12:40pm AWST) at Sullivan Logistics Stadium, Perth.<\/p>\n
