We have our first set of 10 qualifiers for Saturday night\u2019s Grand Final<\/p>\n
The First Semi-Final of the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest has now come to its exciting conclusion after being broadcast to us live from the Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna. The 70th Contest now has 10 more songs to compete in the Grand Final on Saturday 16 May.<\/p>\n
The First Semi-Final qualifiers<\/p>\n

Italy and Germany, who also performed in the First Semi-Final, got to choose their Grand Final halves too. The results were as follows:<\/p>\n First Half: Greece, Belgium, SerbiaSecond Half: Sweden, Lithuania, PolandProducer’s Choice: Italy, Germany, Israel, Finland, Moldova, Croatia<\/p>\n All of the artists that competed at the First Semi-Final this evening put all their creativity and energy into their performances on the Eurovision stage, and are worthy of applause.<\/p>\n With all the celebration around our qualifiers comes a little disappointed too. You can also watch all of the performances on one handy playlist<\/a>!<\/p>\n How the result was decided<\/p>\n The Semi-Final result was determined through a mixture of a jury vote and a public vote, from audiences all across the world, with a 50% weighting given to each.<\/p>\n The public vote took place during the live broadcast of the show. The 15\u00a0participating countries, as well as Italy and Germany, were voting in this Semi Final.<\/p>\n The 10\u00a0qualifiers will join the qualifiers from the Second Semi-Final (on Thursday 14 May), as well as the Big 4 (France, Germany, Italy and United Kingdom) plus reigning Contest champions Austria, in the Grand Final on Saturday 16\u00a0May.<\/p>\n
