Top-ranked defending champion Scottie Scheffler will tee off alongside England\u2019s Justin Rose and Matt Fitzpatrick when the 108th PGA Championship begins on Thursday night (AEST) at Aronimink.<\/p>\n

The PGA of America has announced tee times for the event, with four-time major winner Scheffler of the United States joining 2013 US Open winner Rose and 2022 US Open champion Fitzpatrick at 2:05 p.m. Thursday (4.05am Friday AEST) off the first tee.<\/p>\n

The grouping means Fitzpatrick, a three-time PGA Tour winner this season, will not be joined by younger brother Alex, who is off to a hot PGA Tour start since sharing a pairs win with Matt in April at New Orleans.<\/p>\n

Rory McIlroy, coming off his sixth major triumph last month at the Masters, will start at 8:40 a.m. Thursday (10.40pm AEST) off the 10th tee alongside Spain\u2019s LIV star Jon Rahm and American Jordan Spieth over the 7,394-yard, par-70 layout.<\/p>\n

The world number two from Northern Ireland will try to become the first player since Jack Nicklaus in 1975 to win the Masters and PGA Championship in the same year.<\/p>\n

Spieth would complete a career Grand Slam with a victory while Rahm would become the first Spaniard to capture the PGA Championship.<\/p>\n

Australians also feature in star-studded groups with Jason Day, Cameron Smith and Min Woo Lee all teeing off before 10pm AEST on Thursday.<\/p>\n

Adam Scott begins in the afternoon US time (3.21am AEST), along with Elvis Smylie (2.45am) and Aussie bolter Travis Smyth (4am).<\/p>\n

Alex Fitzpatrick tees off at the first hole in the first group of the event at 6:45 a.m. Thursday (8.45pm AEST) alongside Americans Ben Griffin and Braden Shattuck.<\/p>\n

World number three Cameron Young will be joined Thursday at 1:54 p.m. (3.54am Friday AEST) on the first tee by fellow Americans Keegan Bradley, the 2011 PGA Championship winner, and Justin Thomas, who took the PGA Championship in 2017 and 2022.<\/p>\n
