Former UFC star Darren Till has suggested that at his best, he could defeat new UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland.<\/p>\n
Back in the day, Darren Till was considered to be one of the most interesting welterweight prospects in all of mixed martial arts. He absolutely shot up through the ranks at 170 pounds until finally, he received a shot at UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley \u2013 which he proceeded to lose via submission.<\/p>\n

As we know, though, he stayed in close contact with his good friend Khamzat Chimaev. Recently, ahead of UFC 328, Darren made it known that he felt like it was going to be a pretty tough fight<\/a> for Khamzat. In the end, he lost the belt to Strickland in the main event last Saturday night.<\/p>\n In a recent stream, Till had the following to say about his own chances against Strickland if that fight ever took place.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Till\u2019s view on hypothetical fight against Strickland<\/p>\n \u201cI look at Sean Strickland now, he\u2019s just beat Khamzat,\u201d he said during a live stream on Kick.<\/p>\n \u201cI know for a fact, me 100 percent healthy, I take him out. I know I would.<\/p>\n \u201cEveryone even says it. It\u2019s easy for me to say it, he\u2019s the champion, but I trust in my skill set.\u201d<\/p>\n
