A major NFC clash will take center stage in Netflix’s first NFL broadcast on Thanksgiving eve.<\/p>\n
The streaming service announced Wednesday it will air the Green Bay Packers’ road trip to play the Los Angeles Rams on Nov. 25:<\/p>\n
Wes Hodkiewicz<\/a> of the Packers’ official site noted this will be only the second time in franchise history that Green Bay has played on a Wednesday. The previous instance was all the way back in 1938.<\/p>\n The stakes figure to be reasonably high when the Rams welcome the Packers to SoFi Stadium. <\/p>\n By late November, the playoff contenders should’ve separated themselves, and the pair of Los Angeles and Green Bay are likely to be in that mix. The teams sat second and 12th, respectively, in Bleacher Report’s post-draft power rankings<\/a>.<\/p>\n The Rams are mostly running it back on offense while strengthening their secondary by poaching Trent McDuffie and Jaylen Watson from the Kansas City Chiefs.<\/p>\n The Packers are likewise leaning on continuity to improve on a Wild Card Round loss to the rival Chicago Bears. And by Thanksgiving Week, edge-rusher Micah Parsons and tight end Tucker Kraft should’ve fully recovered from their torn ACLs.<\/p>\n
