{"id":669309,"date":"2026-05-14T00:27:18","date_gmt":"2026-05-14T00:27:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/669309\/"},"modified":"2026-05-14T00:27:18","modified_gmt":"2026-05-14T00:27:18","slug":"ratner-visiting-china-for-rush-hour-4-shoot","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/669309\/","title":{"rendered":"Ratner Visiting China For &#8220;Rush Hour 4&#8221; Shoot"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>            <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/ratner-visiting-china-for-rush-hour-4-shoot.jpg\" data-caption=\"New Line Cinema\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" class=\"entry-thumb td-modal-image\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/ratner-visiting-china-for-rush-hour-4-shoot.jpg\"   alt=\"\" title=\"ratner-visiting-china-for-rush-hour-4-shoot\"\/><\/a>New Line Cinema<\/p>\n<p>Filmmaker Brett Ratner has reportedly joined U.S. President Donald Trump alongside a number of business and technology moguls currently in China for a major summit with President Xi Jinping.<\/p>\n<p>According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scmp.com\/news\/china\/diplomacy\/article\/3353296\/melania-rush-hour-director-returns-china-trumps-delegation\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">South China Morning Post<\/a>, Ratner will reportedly be on hand to scout locations and prepare for production on a fourth \u201cRush Hour\u201d which he plans to shoot the majority of in the country.<\/p>\n<p>During the three-day trip, also reportedly has meetings with crew members, actors and potential Chinese film distribution partners.<\/p>\n<p>Ratner helmed the three previous entries, along with a number of other high-profile blockbusters, before his reputation was damaged following multiple women accusing him of sexual assault and harassment.
