Former One Direction star Niall Horan has teased a huge Australian tour at the start of next year, and there\u2019s good news for fans outside of Melbourne and Sydney. <\/p>\n
During an appearance on KIIS FM\u2019s The Smallzy Show on Wednesday night, the former X Factor star shared the exciting news about his upcoming tour, which will see him following in the footsteps of former bandmates Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles. <\/p>\n
\u201cAustralia will be early next year. We haven\u2019t announced anything yet, but don\u2019t you worry. A big public service announcement. Australia, I will be down early next year,\u201d said Horan.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m going to be announcing the dates soon. Get your tickets, all the major cities. Let\u2019s go. I\u2019m coming home baby!\u201d<\/p>\n
He added he was so excited to be touring Down Under next year, and said he wishes he could be there already. <\/p>\n
\u201cI literally cannot tell you how much I can\u2019t wait to get to Australia. Get me there now!\u201d he added. <\/p>\n
In the past, fans have openly criticised Horan\u2019s former bandmates for failing to hit certain major Australian cities such as Perth. <\/p>\n
Meanwhile, it comes after Horan revealed that he is still processing the tragic death of his former One Direction bandmate, Liam Payne.<\/p>\n
Appearing on the Tommy Tiernan Show back in February, he recalled his \u201cpure shock\u201d over Payne\u2019s death.<\/p>\n
He explained to the host that he \u201cwasn\u2019t aware\u201d of the extent of Payne\u2019s personal struggles. <\/p>\n
\u201cI knew he\u2019d had a couple of issues, but because I wasn\u2019t around him like I was in previous years all the time, I didn\u2019t realise to what extent. I knew there was some stuff going on, but I wasn\u2019t aware of the depth,\u201d admitted Horan.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou go through like, \u2018What could I have done if I\u2019d known more? Should I have dug more into it? Could I have talked to other people to get an angle on it?\u201d he added as he fought through tears.<\/p>\n
\u201cI have to say, after I made the mistake of turning [the news] on the first time\u2026 I just remember going, \u2018No, I\u2019m not doing that. I can\u2019t go any further than this\u2026 I can\u2019t be worried about what they\u2019re going to say next\u2026\u2019\u201d he recalled.<\/p>\n
Horan recently also revealed that he has a new song on his forthcoming album, Dinner Party, that\u2019s dedicated to his former bandmate following his heartbreaking death.<\/p>\n
