The Cleveland Browns will face some interesting decisions once training camp begins and the regular season draws nearer. Shedeur Sanders is the name to watch\u2014he didn\u2019t see much opportunity during OTA\u2019s, leading some to believe he could become trade bait for the Browns.<\/a><\/p>\n

For now, the presumed starter heading into training camp is veteran Joe Flacco.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf I was a betting man, Joe Flacco is gonna go into the year as the starter,\u201d Fitzpatrick said. \u201cHe has history there, he has success there, and I think it\u2019s a great story. He\u2019s a guy that\u2019ll bring calm, he\u2019s the guy that\u2019s going to be able to get them off on the right foot,\u201d former NFL QB Ryan Fitzpatrick said.<\/a> \u201cAs the season goes along, when you draft guys early, and when you have young exciting guys, they\u2019re excited for Gabriel, we could see him inserted into the lineup.\u201d<\/p>\n

If Sanders does become the starting quarterback at some point, that doesn\u2019t necessarily mean he will be beyond this upcoming season.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf he somehow leaps past Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett and Dillon Gabriel, Sanders will have to worry about next year,” Fox Sports\u2019 Henry McKenna wrote.<\/a> “Even if he plays serviceably, there\u2019s no guarantee he\u2019s Cleveland\u2019s future at QB. The 2026 draft will offer plenty of quarterbacks, and, potentially under a new head coach, the Browns would be in position to draft one.”<\/p>\n

Pro Football Sports Network\u2019s Owain Jones believes the Browns will take another NFL royalty in Arch Manning.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis may only be Manning\u2019s first year as a starter, but the hype is real. There is enough tape to hint that the five-star recruit has all the intangibles and dynamic play to potentially be the top quarterback in next year\u2019s class. The 6\u20194\u201d, 212-pound quarterback is a more high-powered passer than his uncles, adding a potent rushing threat they didn\u2019t have,\u201d Jones wrote.<\/a><\/p>\n

There is so much hype around Manning, and if he lives up to it, the Browns could go from one royal football family to the next.
