Mitchell Moses could not hide his frustrations on the field on Saturday evening as he and his Parramatta teammates suffered a 34-8 loss to the Melbourne Storm.

The Eels skipper found himself caught in several fiery exchanges towards the final minutes of the match, going head to head with Josh King and Cameron Munster.

A number of Parramatta players had already earned a spray from Moses due to errors in attack, but King was the first rival player to cop the heat of the playmaker’s words.

King had raised his forearm when Moses attempted to bring him down in a tackle, with the act proving to be the boiling point for the NSW hopeful’s patience.

Moses was quick to push away King, although some heated words were shared.

“You can see how much it means to Mitchell Moses, he is going after this game,” Billy Slater said of the incident.

Just as Slater was reflecting on the incident, Moses was back in a fiery exchange only this time with Queensland’s Munster.

Munster had been tackled on the edge by Moses, who had his head shoved into the Storm playmaker.

“Munster is not happy. There was a bit of head contact,” Andrew Johns interjected.

“Maybe Moses got under his skin,” Nine caller Mat Thompson replied.

Play did not stop due to the incidents, although Moses could not inspire his team to win.

However, his frustrations with the match were shared by Storm coach Craig Bellamy.

A series of uncharacteristic traits have caused havoc for the Storm this season, with the side’s ill discipline opening the gates for the Eels to capitalise in their Magic Round clash.

While those moments were not always taken advantage of by Parramatta, Bellamy could not hide his anger with the simple ball handling errors his players were making.

The veteran coach was seen charging to the back of his coaches box after Sualauvi Faalogo dropped the ball cold, just moments after Moses Leo was forced off injured.

Nine’s cameras panned up to the coaches box to show a furious Bellamy storm away.

“That is pure frustration,” Cameron Smith said of his former coach on Nine.

The heated exchanges did not change the goal for the Storm, who found the tryline via Cooper Clarke, Harry Grant and King to round out the final minutes of the match.

Earlier in the match, Sean Russell had no issue slipping past Nick Meaney to open the scoring, with the future Perth Bears duo going head to head before the Eels gun planted the ball in goal.

The Melbourne Storm were not going to let the early try bother them for long as Munster and Jack Howarth teamed up to send Moses Leo over.

Grant wasted no time pushing his case to retain a Queensland jersey, making a break from dummy half to set up the foundations for the Storm’s next try.

A quick pass out to Munster then found Jahrome Hughes, who palmed the ball off to Munster then Faalogo before it eventually landed in Howarth’s hands.

The brilliance of his teammates was all he needed to inspire a terrific finish, smashing the ball down in the corner to bring the scores to 10-4.

“That is footy,” Johns said.

Smith added in awe: “That was beautiful.”

Ill discipline began to creep in for both teams for the remainder of the first half, with ball handling proving to be the biggest challenge for each side to overcome.

That dilemma did not end with the half-time siren, Davvy Moale dropped the ball cold on the first carry of the second half. Brian Kelly did the same in the next set for the Eels.

“It is a mistake-athon after half-time,” Thompson said.

A costly penalty by the Eels opened the gates for Munster to strike, charging over in between two defenders before toppling over another to find the tryline.

Mitchell Moses could not hide his frustrations on the field on Saturday evening as he and his Parramatta…

[568
64,63,761,762,158,85
post-675331","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-nrl","tag-au","tag-australia","tag-national-rugby-league","tag-nationalrugbyleague","tag-nrl","tag-sports
["GET
