Tammy confirmed her engagement to Andrea in June 2025<\/a>, just months after the pair went public with their relationship.<\/p>\n

It looks like wedding planning is \ufefffull swing as the couple reacted to a fan’s proposed Kentucky Wildcats basketball-themed celebration.<\/p>\n

While basketball may be an unorthodox wedding theme for most, it seemed to be exactly what the couple had envisioned. \ufeff<\/p>\n

Tammy and Andrea marveled at one follower’s suggestion for a blue, white and orange wedding, complete with a basketball court dance floor, a basketball guest book and a flower girl dressed in a sports jersey.<\/p>\n

When talking about her relationship, the reality star referred to Andrea as her “fianc\u00e9e”, stopping the host in his tracks.\ufeff<\/p>\n

The news came as a shock to the host and to Tammy’s millions of fans who only recently learned about Tammy and Andrea’s relationship although it turns out the couple have been an item for “almost three years” now.<\/p>\n

\ufeffHow did Tammy and Andrea meet?<\/p>\n

In a Season 7 episode of 1000-Lb Sisters, Andrea explained how she and Tammy came into each other’s lives.<\/p>\n

“Tammy and\ufeff I met on a dating app, I had just got on there, I wasn’t on there very long.<\/p>\n

“I saw her and she saw me and we just started talking and it’s been like every day since.”<\/p>\n

Before Tammy made her relationship with Andrea official, she expressed concerns that her family wouldn’t be accepting of her dating a woman.<\/p>\n

Her relationship with Andrea was Tammy’s first connection since the death of her husband Caleb Willingham in June 2023.<\/p>\n

The 38-year-old, who previously came out as pansexual, \ufeffshared that she wants to take a new approach to dating.<\/p>\n

“I was saying I was pansexual, but I kinda stopped messing with guys after my husband passed,” she said in a TikTok<\/a> video. “So, I’m like a lesbian.”<\/p>\n

While Tammy was excited for this new chapter she wasn’t sure how her family would take her relationship news.<\/p>\n

“So I haven’t told my family because my family’s gonna have something to say about it,” Tammy said.<\/p>\n
