Michael Jackson and Spider-Man \u2013 two names that definitely weren’t on the Premier League bingo card on the penultimate weekend of the 2025-26 campaign.<\/p>\n
However, thanks to Newcastle United<\/a> striker William Osula and Sunderland<\/a> midfielder Enzo le Fee, both made brief appearances in England’s top flight on Sunday.<\/p>\n Having doubled the Magpies’ lead in their 3-1 win against West Ham<\/a> at St James’ Park, Osula wheeled away in celebration before being thrown a white glove from the side of the pitch.<\/p>\n Osula immediately put on the glove – which famously formed part of the King of Pop’s stage attire – before striking a number of Jackson’s many iconic poses.<\/p>\n At the Hill Dickinson Stadium earlier in the day, Le Fee wasn’t thrown a glove from the crowd, but a mask of the famous web-slinging superhero.<\/p>\n The 26-year-old – who had put Sunderland<\/a> ahead for the first time in an eventual 3-1 victory<\/a> – also posed for the cameras after donning his mask, imitating Spider-Man’s iconic web-shooting hand gesture.<\/p>\n Le Fee later told Match of the Day: “Since I was young, I’ve liked Spider-Man – my favourite hero with my little brother, so it’s a sign for him.<\/p>\n “I should’ve done the celebration a long time ago but I didn’t score.
