The NRL is set to ban two fans who were filmed in a brawl during the Magic Round at the Suncorp Stadium on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Social media footage shows one man in a Brisbane Broncos jersey and another in the colours of the New Zealand Warriors throwing punches at each other after an ugly grapple.<\/p>\n

They were eventually pulled apart by fans close to the incident.<\/p>\n

The Warriors beat the Broncos 42-12, but it was the action in the stands that the NRL had to address after the match.<\/p>\n

A statement from the league said: \u201cThe NRL intends to issue banning notices through the Spectator Code of Conduct.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to the Courier Mail<\/a>, a Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said the two men, aged 21 and 27, were removed from the stadium.<\/p>\n

She went on to reveal the number of issues the police were called to deal with across a four-day period, adding: \u201cPolice thank the majority of the public for being considerate and respectful towards others.<\/p>\n

\u201cBetween May 14 to 17, there were 16 evictions, 20 move on directions issued, and eight arrests made.\u201d<\/p>\n

A Suncorp Stadium spokesman said: \u201cWe\u2019re disappointed the poor behaviour of some marred the end of an extremely positive weekend, with nearly 150,000 patrons visiting the venue behaving in the right way..<\/p>\n

\u201cThe incident was dealt with by police, and the venue will work with stakeholders to understand any subsequent action required.<\/p>\n

\u201cMore than 99 per cent of patrons enjoyed the spectacle of football respectfully over the weekend and the Stadium would like to thank them for that.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe stadium would like to thank the overwhelming majority who behaved respectfully, as well as the security staff and police who worked tirelessly to provide a safe experience at what was overall another incredible event.\u201d<\/p>\n
