You can see well from the helicopter video that I was almost overtaking him\u2026\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Then [when] he saw that it was me, he made the same as yesterday. I feel really bad for the team. But I don&#8217;t think I made a mistake.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI didn&#8217;t come to the corner with a super speed. I didn&#8217;t come to the corner over the line.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was just overtaking him but\u2026 he [turned in] and in that moment we touched and were both in the gravel.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>    <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/gng_1316261_hires_1600x900.jpg\"   type=\"image\/jpeg\" alt=\"Raul Fernandez, Jorge Martin clash, 2026 Catalan MotoGP.\" loading=\"lazy\" style=\"aspect-ratio:1.78\"\/> <\/p>\n<p>Raul Fernandez, Jorge Martin clash, 2026 Catalan MotoGP.<\/p>\n<p> \u00a9\u00a0Gold and Goose<\/p>\n<p>  Jorge Martin &#8220;made two corners&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The FIM MotoGP Stewards reviewed the incident before deciding no further action was necessary.<\/p>\n<p> Article continues below ADVERTISEMENT<\/p>\n<p> Article continues below ADVERTISEMENT<\/p>\n<p>Aprilia Racing CEO Massimo Rivola, who has repeatedly spoken about the need for respect between title rivals Bezzecchi and Martin, was seen exchanging some tense words with Davide Brivio after the incident.<\/p>\n<p>Martin, who <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crash.net\/motogp\/news\/1095570\/1\/jorge-martin-apologises-aprilia-after-angry-catalunya-motogp-pit-reaction\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">reacted angrily upon returning to the Aprilia garage<\/a>, declined to comment publicly on the incident after the race.<\/p>\n<p>Fernandez maintained that Aprilia\u2019s telemetry data supports his version of events.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn Turn 5, I was super strong during the weekend. I braked later than all the Aprilias and I can turn the bike. So they know that I can make this action,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was nothing crazy. I was in my line, I overtake him.
