The Veronicas have one of the strangest backstage demands in Australian music \u2013 and it all started with a mortifying mistake.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ve lost our voices from too much hairspray before, it\u2019s so embarrassing,\u201d Jess Origliasso reveals.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s a confession that explains the duo\u2019s now-strict \u201cno spray policy\u201d \u2013 no hairspray, no face spray and absolutely no fragrance of any kind. The rule is so rigid that the sisters can\u2019t even jump in a regular Uber if it has one of those dangling air fresheners. <\/p>\n
\u201cWe have to get a hire car to specifically say we cannot have fragrance in the car,\u201d Lisa explains. Even their backstage crew are banned from wearing perfume, \u201cfragrance and sprays are just an absolute no \u2026 The deodorants have to go.\u201d<\/p>\n

But vocal preservation isn\u2019t the only thing on the agenda for the iconic Aussie duo. They\u2019re also clearing out their archives, selling off pieces of Veronica\u2019s history on eBay<\/a> \u2013 including Lisa\u2019s iconic hoop earrings <\/a>(bought with their first record deal paycheck) and Jess\u2019s 2006 Alexander McQueen skull scarf<\/a> that\u2019s \u201cbeen through quite the lifetime.\u201d<\/p>\n As for the wildest celeb to slide into their DMs?
